Close the drive: PCSX-R will wait for a new CD to be inserted and resume when a new one is available. The process for switching discs on OS X is slightly different: For games that don't allow that (like Metal Gear Solid, may not work), disc switching can be a bit tricky: Some games (like Final Fantasy) allow you to save in the "Disc Change screen". It is released under the GNU General Public License. PCSX has a high compatibility rate and is currently available for a number of different operating systems including, Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux. A newer fork of PCSX-Reloaded is PCSX-Redux. To get hotkeys to work, like using the esc key: in the keyboard Input API (radio buttons in the top left of the LilyPad options), choose raw input. As of 2021 the emulator seems to be no longer under active development. Save Rewind feature (currently only OSX and Linux version). Support for Libarchive (currently only OSX and Linux version). Suppport for ECM files (curently only OSX and Linux version). Compatibility with anti-jitter options in graphics plugins, such as GTE accuracy in the default Peops OpenGL plugin, or Improved coordinate accuracy in Edgbla's gpuBladeSoft and it also supports PeteOpenGL2Tweak plugin. A widescreen hack in the CPU options (3D games only). 
Disk tray opening and closing for games that require it.However Windows version is currently unmaintained and has inferior feature set so if you are on Windows ePSXe may be better. PCSX-R is the best choice if you want to play 3D games at higher resolutions.
